I grew up around horses all my life with a long history in many equine sports and activities. My passion for massaging horses started 10 years ago, when my horse hit his head and lost the ability to move his ear and his eye. I began to explore the power of massage by instinctively using touch (which I later realized was called myofascial release), to help him recover. 

I began to explore the different techniques of horse massage and discovered the Masterson Method ® , which seemed like a match for me. The Masterson Method® is a unique, interactive technique between the practitioner and horse that finds and releases tension and increases range of motion in key junctions of the body that most affect performance. This then allows the horse to use its body to the best of its ability. This work is done WITH the horse not TO the horse.
